Here are some Microsoft Windows programs that I've developed and coded. They satisfy my needs on a daily basis and I've placed the executables and source code into the public domain. Enjoy!

DicksEditor

DicksEditor is a single document plain text editor designed to facilitate authoring web pages using HTML, XHTML CSS PHP and JS. In fact this, entire website was programmed in DicksEditor. The entire program exists in a single program file DicksEditor.exe, which may be placed in any folder on your file system. The Help documentation is viewed from within DicksEditor via the Internet. A second file, DicksEditorFileStatus.txt, will be created in the program's folder if you check the |View|Settings|Display|Restore State| option.

Remove DicksEditor from your computer by deleting the above two mentioned files.

I suggest that you first read the above PDF documentaion before downloading and running DicksEditor in order to see if it meets your needs. A similar plain text editor can be freely obtained from editra.org. I found editra to be an exteremly well written program. However, it does too much for too many programming languages.

DicksFTP

DicksFTP is a Microsoft Windows based FTP, File Transfer Protocol, client. It operates on a single server directory and on one file at a time. The entire program exists in one program file DicksFTP.exe which may be placed anywhere in your computer. The Help documentation is viewed from within DicksFTP via the Internet.

Remove DicksFTP from your computer by deleting DicksFTP.exe.

AccessEase

AccessEase is a Microsoft Windows based encrypted flat-file database program for storing and retrieving URLs, User IDs, and Passwords for Internet websites. The entire program exists in a single file, AccessEase.exe which may be placed in any folder on your file system. The Help documentation is viewed from within AccessEase via the Internet.

Completely remove AccessEase from your computer by deleting AccessEase.exe.

All AccessEase data are encrypted when the database file is saved. A unique encryption key is used for different file passwords.

Website passwords are obscured by asterisks except when adding or editing data. Otherwise, when you copy the asterisks, the actual password is placed on the computer's clipboard. It remains there, available for pasting, for 10 seconds; after which time it is automatically removed from the clipboard.

DicksBackup

DicksBackup is a Microsoft Windows based archive and distribution file manager. It copies a source file to an archive file when the archive is out of date. The source and archive files can be located in arbitrary network folders. Multiple archives files in various folders can be distributed from a single source file. The source file can be recovered from its archive.

The entire program exists in one program file DicksBackup.exe which may be placed anywhere in your computer. The Help documentation is viewed from within DicksBackup via the Internet.

Remove DicksBackup from your computer by deleting DicksBackup.exe.

How DicksBackup Backs Up and Distributes Files.

For backup, the program compares the last modified date of the source (original) with that of the archive (backup) file. If they differ, the source is copied over the archive file. A source file can be located in any folder on any computer with an assigned network drive letter. The Archived files are usually placed in a single folder on a removable disk such as a USB portable or thumb drive along with the backup manager file.

For Distribution, the program copies a source file to all out of date archive files. A single source file can be distributed to many archive files each located on a different network computer. This is useful if you obtain new program version or a updated data file that must distributed to users on multiple computers at the same time. Both backup and distribution can be preformed with one backup manager file. Any source file can be recovered from its archive file. Before recovery, a copy of the source can be created with a modified name. This allows reversal of the recovery process.

TwoPulleyCalculator is a Microsoft Windows based calculator to determine the pulley sizes when the distance between centers, belt length, and speed ratio is known.

The entire program exists in one program file TwoPulleyCalculator.exe which may be placed anywhere in your computer.

Completely remove TwoPulleyCalculator from your computer by deleting the file.
